We had a really interesting talk from Alison. She had been invited by Prof Tilo Kunath to give a talk at the NECTAR** conference in Naples in October 2023. The conference felt it important to have a patients perspective for Parkinson’s, and Alison was just the person to do this.
Tilo set Alison a challenge: “To inspire the young researchers”. And so she gave a wonderful talk, and used that as the basis of her Get-Together talk. We have added the NECTAR talk video below, it’s an inspiring talk, which many of the researchers found incredibly useful. All too often they don’t get opportunity to talk to, or hear from those affected by the very condition or disease they are working to cure!
